The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
